Our students from fifth grade at RBK (ICSE) Mira Road took part in exercises designed to improve their recognition skills of simple machines and their practical applications, as well as their comprehension of the differences between simple and complicated mechanical devices.

Fun-filled and insightful activities were conducted for our learners from grade 1 to familiarise them with the Hindi alphabets and encourage them to recognise objects corresponding to each alphabet.

The event saw esteemed guests, Senior Police Inspector Mr. Vijay Chauhan and Police Sub-Inspector Mr. Ujjwal Arke from Mira Bhayander Vasai-Virar police, who graced us with their presence and shared valuable insights to raise awareness about Cyber Crimes. They shared insightful information about how to be aware and be safe from the cyber attacks. The seminar gave a good exposure to the students about the online world of scams and frauds and how to be safe from them.

Every year, on June 21, the world comes together to observe the International Day of Yoga, a global celebration established in 2015. Yoga, an invaluable contribution from ancient Indian tradition, has proven to be a reliable method for enhancing both physical and mental well-being. The theme chosen for this year’s International Yoga Day is “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” encapsulating our shared desire for a unified world where we recognize that we are all part of one Earth, one family, and one future.

Father’s Day is a special occasion for dads to celebrate the meaningful moments in their lives. At Kanakia Kids, Father’s Day was celebrated on June 16, 2023. Fathers accompanied their children, dressed in matching outfits, and gathered in the school auditorium. The celebration beautiful and melodious songs that filled the room with joy.

Sports provide one of the most exhilarating experiences in life, as they teach individuals valuable qualities such as dedication, leadership, and discipline. Additionally, Sports Day serves as an occasion to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship. The Annual Sports Meet at Kanakia Kids, Mira Road was conducted successfully, with participants showcasing their skills in various sports, displays, and a march past. The learners performed best, and the winners were recognized with certificates and medals.

Engaging them in learning science and engineering helps them to answer their own authentic questions and solve real-world problems. Doing so helps children develop into people who can be informed decision-makers about issues that will matter to them as adults, issues related to their health or the environment, for example, and that deeply affect them and their communities.

There’s something so good about music festivals, not only do they give you a chance to see some of your favorite songs performed live, but also they give you a chance to spend time with your friends and family, get a little bit crazy, and enjoy yourself. RBK School, Mira Road organized the most spectacular and melodious event of the year “Voice of RBK” showcasing the budding singers of Grade 4 to Grade 12.
