RBK International School is proudly affiliated with the International Award for Young People.
The Programme is non-competitive and anyone with perseverance and enterprise, including the
disabled, can earn an Award. Young people choose activities that are appropriate to their
environment and best suited to their own personal interests and talents.
The Award Programme was introduced in India in 1962 with a view to encouraging young
people in the country to achieve their full growth potential within the framework of Indian
society, to improve their moral, social and intellectual well-being, to ‘Equip them for Life’.
● The Participation Age is between 14 and 25 years.
● The basic structure of the Award consists of 4 mandatory sections
a. Voluntary Service,
This section seeks to give participants a sense of compassion, to help them
become more active, engaged citizens, playing their part in strengthening and
improving their communities. Participants should undertake an activity by
volunteering their time to support others, whether that be people, the
community, the environment or animals and should learn and benefit from
undertaking their service.
b. Adventurous Journey,
The Adventurous Journey section encourages a sense of adventure and self-
discovery whilst undertaking a journey within a group. Working in a small group,
all participants plan, train for and undertake a journey with a purpose, in an

are typically of an intellectually challenging or creative nature and may be
hobbies, vocational or job-related skills as well as social, individual or
d. Physical Recreation.
This section encourages participants to improve their personal physical
performance through training and perseverance in their chosen activity.
Involvement in physical recreation should be an enjoyable experience,
regardless of physical ability.

c. Gold. (16+ years)
We at RBK International School have 31 learners registered for IAYP Bronze award, in its very
first year of execution. Being a part of IAYP benefits the students who are applying for
Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses across.
